The Illusion

A short film produced by myself as final project for BA Film and Media production.

The Illusion talks about the dark world of social media addiction, focusing on the story of a young man named Jason, whose life has been defined by his social media addiction for a long time.

Despite the negative impact on the relationship with his friends and roommate but also his university, Jason is unable to break away. Through a powerful visual narrative, the movie shines a light on the harmful effects of social media addiction.

The film challenges viewers to reflect on their own relationship with social media and recognize the importance of finding a balance between the virtual world and real-life experiences.
